Yeah, the new boss is appear! Although it is not challenging (I know, it is T1 boss Embarassed ), it is very fun and I'm enjoy it. Very Happy

The shield gives bonus damage to Swords, which is pretty good.

What I'm wondering is, what the hell is it supposed to be? Is it a big rat? A wolver? Some kind of horrible hairy Chromalisk?

I always thought it was some mixture of alpha wolver mixed with some jelly. But that works too.

The sword is pretty nifty. I might wanna rank mine up a few stars.

The Barbarous Thorn Shield does look like it has a lot of potential. I bought the Bristling Buckler for future use once I'm done getting my Grey Owlite shield. Sword Damage Bonus is pretty awesome, along with the high HP.
