Question about UVs and capped weapon stats

Do UVs still work if you have a certain stat capped? For example, if your sword is at maximum damage and you have a low or medium damage UV would it still count? If so, are other UVs the same as well (i.e. attack speed/resists)?

I believe everything caps at maximum, no matter what else you have on you to increase it. Best to work on something else once you get to that point.

What about the UV bonuses, do you have any idea of how much exactly they are worth in comparison to the weapon bar stats? Like, how many extra bars of "Damage" would I get from a max damage UV?

Huh! I'm afraid I don't have damage boosters on me, so I can't really answer this

No the wiki doesn't say anything. What about other UVs? Maybe attack speed?
