From a man who needs no introduction...

Post  Sir Sacrontine on Wed May 11, 2011 12:01 pm

...comes an introduction.

IGN: "Sacrontine" (But feel free to add a "Sir" if you like)

Name: Max (It's latin for "the greatest". As in "I am".)

Age: 20 (I think. Don't remember for sure.)

General Location / Time Zone: I'm a Swede. We got a timezone with a UTC +1 bonus.

In Game Equipment: Blizzbrand, Faust, some other swords, Ash Tail Coat & Cap, but most importantly: my red hat.

Why you joined Oathkeepers:

1. You were on page one on the forum
2. Name wasn't too dorky.
3. Just had good hunch. It didn't fail me.

Anything else you would like to add: I'm a hobby philosopher! Want to know the answers to the fundamental questions of the universe? Ask away, I pretty much solved them all.

Life is a wondrous, fleeting contradiction of love and horror that defies explanation. It cannot be touched or seen, yet it is as real as the stars in the...

Nah, just kidding.

Life the quality of any self-sustaining organism constructed from biomass. The best place to draw the line between life and non-life is the probably the virus, which is so simple you can barely call it alive.

Next question.

Now, that's harder. I take the materialist position say that "to be" is to exist in the material reality, meaning concrete objects like planets, trees and people "are", while conceptual things like dreams and feelings "are not".

That's a pretty radical position amongst most people, though.

I could go into depth about what constitutes a material object, but I think this is enough.
