AH update *new updates 24 May*
from the forum
http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/9022
I'd like to take a moment and give everyone a little update on what we're working on at the moment. Just like when I let you know we were working on an auction house, there's no ETA for any of this just yet. Additionally, this is does not in any way cover everything we've got on our burners, just some of it:
1. A new Tier 1 boss dungeon. We've seen that Tier 1 players (there's a lot of them!) could use a goal to work toward that helps bridge the content into Tier 2. This beast-themed dungeon is looking really nice and features a very cool boss that I think Tier 1 players will enjoy.
2. Auction House refinements. Please continue to give us your feedback on the AH, it is appreciated.
3. PVP! We're excited to be working on PVP once more. Some of you had the opportunity to experience it during our Preview Event. We'd like to have a similar experience, plus more for our official launch. However, as I mentioned in a previous thread, PVP can be tricky to add to a PVE game as only a small percentage of players find direct competition interesting. So I have some questions for you:
- Would you be interested in PVP at all?
- What kind of PVP are you in to, or would be in to with Spiral Knights? Casual or more hardcore? Mario Party or Counterstrike?
- What is your favorite competitive video game?

Good to hear there will be new content. Although for some reason, I'm not looking forward to PvP. Mainly due to the fact of lag, and that certain weapons are definitely more advantageous than others.
Hopefully they make gears standard.

I think we have our Ice boss. Expect UV freeze resist stuff to go up in price soon! This beast-themed dungeon is looking really nice and features a very cool boss that I think Tier 1 players will enjoy.
And to those who haven't already seen it: PvP as it was in the Beta! Gran Faust is a monster indeed. Hopefully they're improving on it with some Team Capture the Flag or Conqueror style gameplay.
Thanks for posting this, Guyjin! Not sure when I would've seen this otherwise.

You know what i'd like to see. Team based dungeon runs. First to the end wins or something, with sabotage elements on the other team xD.
In my head i keep thinking Legend of the Hidden Temple.

The pvp looked pretty good on the preview, I don't think they really need to change it other than balancing a few items *cough* Gran Faust/Sentenza *cough*

new AH update from the forums

Knights,
We are making a tiny bit of room on the schedule for some small auction house changes. Probably these are the only things we'll add for now, as we're really trying to focus on gameplay.
Redo the listing fee formula to be fairer for listing low-value items.
On the search tab, most of the buttons will instantly update the search. You'll still need to push "search" when the tab is first loaded or if you've entered search text (in which case you can press enter).
Sorting by bid/buy price will sort by price per unit.
You'll be able to sort by "lot size".
There will be some kind of refresh option for the "my auctions" tab.
If you are online when you're outbid, you'll get a chat message and your crowns will refund directly to you. If you're offline then you'll get the mail as before.
The only thing I'm unsure about is the last one. It might be easy to miss the chat message. I thought about always sending the mail and only attaching the crowns if you are offline, but it seemed from the other thread as if people would prefer just the chat.
I just thought I'd let you know what was coming. There isn't room for anything else, but if you hate/hate/hate the outbid mail change, I'll listen.

Re: AH update *new updates 24 May*
Why can't they just lower the listing fee? I lost a lot of money trying to sell recipes and now I never want to use the stupid thing again.
1. Try to sell 10k 4-star recipe for 12k.
2. Fail once. -1200
3. Succeed. -1200
Profit: -400 crown
Whyyyyy?
