Idea: semi-regular guild nights?

Wow, it's like I never stopped making oat puns. Anyway...

Life has changed drastically for a lot of us in the last 8 years, but I know I miss SK time with my OK friends!

We could start having guild nights on a weekly or monthly or whatever basis? (I use the word "night" loosely, since we're all over the world!)

Attendance not required, obviously, but more as a way to know when other oats are more likely to be on.

Unfortunately, even though I am posting this at 1am EST (though the site might say 2am? odd), I am no longer able to play until 5am EST, haha!

Does anyone have any suggestions for time frames?

Hmmm, I could swing anywhere from 9pm PST - 3am PST once a month. I'm usually playing games late at night every night, but I can try to swing anything on a day off.

My cutoff is unfortunately 3am (6am EST) though cause otherwise I won't get enough sleep before my son wakes up.

Yeah, I'm up for some spiraling. I can do an hour or two anywhere between 10PM-4AM CEST on weekdays. That's quite late for a guy from Czechia but it still doesn't seem to be late enough for Californians Weekends are much more free, of course.

Did I mention I hate timezones and daylight saving?

Anyways, I'm thinking we should start a Discord server. It's what the cool kids do nowadays. Not that we are kids nor that I'm cool. This forum is ok, but it depends on me reading email notification when someone posts, assuming I have enabled that, which I did not until five minutes ago Also, I guess we'd need a VOIP solution anyways?

Ooh a discord! I haven't used discord at all, but I totally agree that the forum is cute, but can be hard to keep up with. Not as easy.

Hey guys,

I'm working on putting together a discord. I got a barebones discord set up right now. I have all the SK roles set up with all the permissions set in place. I set up some voice channels for parties as well as just a hangout voice channel and a few text chats. I probably won't have all that much time to frequent there, but I talked to Wilshire and he said he'll keep an eye on it from his phone. I'm gonna pass the reigns over to him once it's up and running. I'll post another thread with the invite link once it's set up fully.
